On 8/20/2014, I had the pleasure of not only presenting to the Napa Nonprofit Coalition, I was also treated to a BBQ lunch at Connolly Ranch.
If you are unfamiliar with the Napa Nonprofit Coalition you can learn more by clicking their name. The Napa Nonprofit Coalition is an amazing organization where nonprofit community leaders from a variety of nonprofits and associate businesses gather to promote best practices and inter-agency cooperation. I was honored to be accepted as a presenter and to discuss sales and marketing with the group.
For those of you like me that were raised in the Valley or just have called Napa home for a while you have most likely heard of Connolly Ranch. However, until this presentation I really had no idea of the ranchs' rich history of stewardship, preservation and education. If you want to get back to basics or want to give your children an opportunity to interact with nature and farming; then find an event at Connolly Ranch that you can participate in with your family. Jennifer Fotherby, the new Director as of this spring is continually working to make the ranch a more inclusive environment for the entire community.
Special thanks to Suzanne Shiff, who heads the Napa Nonprofit Coalition and their efforts to create a better community for giving Community Limelight a platform and for inviting us to be associate members.
Please check back with us from time to time for case studies, media, marketing idea and means and may even a haiku or two.
